Explore our high-performance engineered woods, structural core materials, and waterproof composite panels tailored for demanding residential and commercial environments.
Thermal modification is a high-tech pyrolytic treatment that permanently alters the cellular structure of structural timber and composite substrates. By heating wood in a controlled atmosphere devoid of oxygen to temperatures ranging between 180°C and 230°C, we initiate a chemical transformation within the cell wall polymers. This pyrolysis process breaks down highly hydrophilic hemicelluloses, converting them into stable, non-hydrophilic compounds.
This process reduces the equilibrium moisture content (EMC) of the wood by up to 50–90%, yielding a product with superior dimensional stability. The cell walls no longer react to ambient humidity, which effectively eliminates swelling, warping, and cracking. Crucially, because the food source (free sugars) within the wood is eliminated, the wood achieves biological class resistance comparable to chemical pressure preservation methods without the use of toxic chemicals.
Our manufacturing compliance standards align directly with European, American, and Australian civil construction codes.
| Performance Indicator | Standard Wood Profile | Thermo-Treated Grade (Thermo-D / S) | Compliance Reference |

Established in 2000, Shandong Avenue Decor Co., Ltd. has consistently innovated within the wood fabrication and structural cladding sector. Over more than two decades, we have transformed into a major player in the production of high-performance plywood, thermo-treated materials, and wood-plastic composites (WPC).
Located in Linyi City, Shandong Province, China, our advanced production hub covers 56,000 square meters and employs over 500 skilled professionals. Equipped with over 51 advanced production lines—including high-precision WPC extrusion units, advanced thermal treatment kilns, UV coating, and laminating equipment—our annual output exceeds 100 million USD. This capacity enables us to serve construction projects, garden landscapers, and residential interior developers worldwide.
Every phase of our production, from logging control to final wrapping, is monitored to verify performance standards and product consistency.
Over 30 Advanced WPC and Wood Extrusion Systems Running 24/7
As an enterprise supplier to global distributors and structural material importers, we recognize that engineering products are only as reliable as their compliance documentation.
Our processes are certified under CE (EN 13986 for structural wood), FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) chain of custody, ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems, AS/NZS (Australian Standard compliance), and US EPA CARB/TSCA Title VI certifications. This ensures frictionless customs clearance and matches municipal project requirements.
Our facility in Linyi, Shandong, sits at the heart of China’s largest wood cluster. This geographic location gives us secure access to structural veneer logs, chemical and polymer bases, and direct rail and road connections to Qingdao Port. We manage internal shipping times to guarantee consistent dispatch dates.
We provide free samples for structural testing, custom mold fabrication, and on-site engineering consultations. Our technical support staff assist global distributors with building code applications, structural wind-load simulations, and fire safety ratings.
With products exported to more than 70 countries and regions, we have built a dependable global sales and logistical ecosystem.
Our presence spans Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. We work alongside global shipping firms to offer flexible trade terms (FOB, CIF, DDP) and maintain clear tracking processes from our plant to your receiving dock. Our pre-sale services include securing certified raw materials, supplying samples for municipal testing, and designing custom packaging profiles to protect materials during long ocean transits.
The global market for structural wood is transitioning away from chemically preserved species and towards green, non-toxic alternatives. Below is a breakdown of where our advanced materials are used:
Designed for rainscreens, siding, and exterior louvers. The thermal treatment process prevents dimensional shift under extreme solar heating or heavy rain, preventing fastener pull-out and keeping vertical joints aligned.
Used as core substrates in wellness centers, public pools, and marine docks. The thermal alteration prevents structural swelling and fiber decay, ensuring long-term utility in high-humidity zones.
Perfect for shopping malls, airports, and auditoriums requiring Euroclass B fire certification and low VOC output. Our panels blend natural textures with safety and air-quality compliance.
In regions like Western Europe and North America, building codes are increasingly restricting copper- and arsenic-treated pressure woods due to soil contamination risks. This has accelerated the adoption of thermally modified wood. In parallel, global commercial developers are looking for FSC-certified source materials to meet carbon footprint reporting mandates. Our facility meets these shifts by providing chemical-free thermal treatment processes along with full environmental verification.
